Hyderabad is set to get a state-of-the-art healthcare facility as the Roads and Buildings Department has officially opened tenders for the construction of the new Osmania Hospital in Goshamahal. The deadline for bid submissions is June 27, with technical bids to be opened the same day, followed by financial bids on July 1. This marks a significant step forward after Chief Minister Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone earlier this year on January 31.
The new hospital, spanning 26 acres, will be built at an estimated cost of Rs.2,700 crore and is expected to be completed within two years. With a planned capacity of 2,000 beds, the facility aims to address the growing healthcare demands of the region while incorporating cutting-edge infrastructure.
Designed to be a modern medical hub, the hospital will feature 29 major and 12 minor operation theatres, alongside advanced amenities like robotic surgery units, transplant theatres, helipads, and eco-friendly waste management systems. This project underscores Hyderabad’s commitment to elevating healthcare standards with sustainable and high-tech solutions.
