Chennai: Dhanush recently revealed a challenging yet memorable experience while filming for the upcoming movie ‘Kuberaa’ alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna. The duo had to shoot for six to seven hours in a dump yard for a particular sequence. At a Mumbai event for the film’s single launch, Dhanush shared how Rashmika handled the less-than-glamorous setting with humor, joking, ‘Rashmika was alright. She was like I can’t smell anything.’
Reflecting on the shoot, Dhanush got serious, sharing how the experience took him back to his roots. He emphasized the importance of stepping out of comfort zones and reconnecting with humble beginnings. ‘To go back there to see that world again was very enlightening and nostalgic,’ he said, expressing gratitude to the film for bringing back childhood memories.
When asked about avoiding typecasting in his two-decade-long career, Dhanush remained humble, crediting his directors for his diverse roles. ‘I am just a processor. All credits to the filmmakers I have worked with,’ he quipped, comparing himself to a computer that processes data. His down-to-earth attitude and willingness to embrace challenges continue to set him apart in the industry.
