Veteran Bollywood legend Dharmendra recently traded the silver screen for the open seas as he took charge of a yacht, calling the experience “thrilling and happy.” The 89-year-old star shared a cheerful video on Instagram, steering the yacht with a beaming smile. His caption read, “Friends, a visit to a loving person Bikram in his yacht. A thrilling and happy journey.” Fans couldn’t get enough of the octogenarian’s adventurous spirit!
Dharmendra, who continues to defy age with his zest for life, is gearing up for his next big project, ‘Ikkis.’ The film, a departure from director Sriram Raghavan’s signature thrillers, is a coming-of-age war drama based on the life of Indian war hero Arun Khetarpal. Set against the intense backdrop of the 1971 Battle of Basantar, the film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Agastya Nanda.
Despite the excitement around ‘Ikkis,’ the film recently faced controversy when its first look mistakenly credited Arun Khetarpal as the youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient. While Arun was honored posthumously at 21, the distinction actually belongs to Kargil war hero Yogendra Singh Yadav, who received it at 19. The film, produced by Maddock Films, is slated for an October 2025 release—marking another milestone in Dharmendra’s legendary career.
