The Uttar Pradesh Tourism department is gearing up for a grand spectacle – the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025. Scheduled for September 25–29 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, this five-day event will put the state’s breathtaking tourism potential on full display. From cultural heritage to local crafts, UP is ready to charm the world.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision of positioning Uttar Pradesh as a global tourism hub is taking shape with this flagship trade event. Policymakers, business leaders, and industry experts will converge under one roof, making UPITS 2025 a pivotal platform for economic growth. Tourism has been singled out as a key driver for the state’s ambitious one trillion-dollar economy target.
Visitors can expect an immersive experience at the Tourism Department’s expansive stall. Heritage sites, temple architecture, and thematic tourism circuits will be showcased alongside unique local products under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative. Public-private partnership (PPP) tourism projects will also take the spotlight, illustrating Uttar Pradesh’s progress in infrastructure and hospitality.
Tech-savvy travelers will appreciate the digital push at the event. Mobile apps, websites, and QR codes will offer seamless access to travel information, while auto-navigation screens will highlight must-visit destinations. An Augmented Reality (AR) interactive panel will let attendees snap selfies with digital backdrops of iconic sites like the Taj Mahal and Varanasi’s ghats.
The cultural heartbeat of Uttar Pradesh will come alive through traditional performances. Mayur Nritya from Braj, tribal dances from Sonbhadra and Lakhimpur, Bundeli Folk Dance from Jhansi, and Lucknow’s Kathak will enthrall audiences. Six short daily performances will give visitors a taste of the state’s artistic legacy, with photo ops alongside performers adding to the fun.
For business visitors, registration counters will facilitate event planning and B2B meetings, with 20 co-exhibitors amplifying networking opportunities. The Tourism Department is leaving no stone unturned to ensure UPITS 2025 becomes a milestone in promoting the state’s cultural richness and economic promise.
The world will witness Uttar Pradesh’s timeless heritage and future-ready tourism landscape like never before. UPITS 2025 isn’t just an event—it’s an invitation to explore, invest, and be part of a thriving destination.
