Its innovative Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) App, Accessible Digital Library for Employees with Disabilities, and corporate website, which meets the WCAG global accessibility standard, were key highlights. The award ceremony took place in New Delhi, where Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary of the Dept. of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Government of India, presented the accolade. Representing Union Bank of India were Shri Sanjay Narayan, Chief General Manager & Zonal Head, Delhi, and Shri Jithender Maniram, General Manager from the Dept. of Information Technology, Central Office, Mumbai.
