A major investment is landing at the upcoming Noida International Airport. The Uttar Pradesh government has signed a significant memorandum of understanding with AISATS.

This agreement promises a substantial Rs 4,458 crore for two key aviation service projects. The deal was finalized during Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Singapore.

It marks a key outcome from the tour aimed at attracting global capital. The focus is squarely on boosting the state’s infrastructure and economic potential.

Under this MoU, AISATS will develop an advanced cargo campus. This facility is planned for the upcoming international airport in Jewar.

A world-class air catering kitchen is also part of the investment. Both projects aim to set new standards for aviation services in the region.

The integrated cargo campus has a bold vision. It is expected to position Jewar as a major air freight and logistics hub for north India.

This will facilitate export-import activities across key sectors. Electronics, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural products are among the targeted industries.

The facility will leverage the airport’s planned multi-modal connectivity. This strategic advantage is designed to strengthen international trade linkages significantly.

Turning to the second project, a modern air catering unit will be established. This kitchen will supply in-flight meals for flights operating from Jewar.

Its reach will extend beyond the local airport. The facility will also cater to multiple airports across northern India, creating a centralized supply point.

Officials highlight the broader economic impact of these ventures. The projects are expected to boost the regional food processing and supply chain ecosystem.

They will also generate significant direct and indirect employment opportunities. This investment is about building capacity and creating jobs for the future.

The chief minister’s Singapore visit is strategically important. It is focused on showcasing the state’s growth story to global investors.

Officials describe the AISATS agreement as a major step forward. It promises to uplift the aviation, logistics, and services sectors in Uttar Pradesh.

Once the airport becomes operational, these projects will contribute to enhancing north India’s economic landscape. The investment lays a strong foundation for future growth and connectivity.
