The excitement for the Indian Premier League 2026 is building as the March 28 start date approaches. Fans across the globe are eager to see their favorite cricket stars take center stage in one of the world’s most thrilling tournaments.

Ahead of the first ball bowled, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has made a major announcement. They have revealed the schedule for the highly popular IPL fan parks for the initial phase of the competition.

This initiative will bring the live IPL experience directly to supporters in 15 different cities. These locations span 11 states and will be active during the tournament’s first three weeks.

It offers a fantastic opportunity for fans to gather and watch the matches together. The communal atmosphere is a key part of the fan park magic.

Each week, five different parks will operate across the nation’s north, south, east, and west zones. This strategic spread ensures maximum fan engagement from all regions.

The concept, first introduced in 2015, has been instrumental in growing the league’s fanbase. These parks have successfully deepened fan engagement over the years.

Every IPL fan park will feature large screens for live match screenings. But the experience goes far beyond just watching cricket.

On-ground activities will include music, entertainment segments, and dedicated food courts. There will even be kids’ play zones to ensure a fun family outing.

The first location is in Nagpur, Maharashtra, at the Mecosabagh Methodist High School Playground. This sets the stage for a series of vibrant community events.

In Tumakuru, Karnataka, fans will gather at the Government Junior College Field. Another Karnataka site is in Mysuru at SBRR Mahajana First Grade College.

Telangana will host an IPL fan park in Nizamabad at the Women’s Educational Society Grounds. Maharashtra gets a second venue in Ratnagiri at Swargiya Pramod Mahajan Krida Sankul.

The city of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu will also participate, using the grounds of Hindustan College of Arts & Science. These diverse venues highlight the tournament’s national appeal.

This widespread rollout means more fans than ever can partake in the live IPL atmosphere. It brings the stadium energy to local communities.

The anticipation for these fan parks is palpable as the tournament start nears. They represent a cornerstone of the modern IPL experience.
