Indian cricketer Rinku Singh’s father, Khanchand Singh, has passed away. He died at a hospital in Greater Noida early Friday after a prolonged illness. Family sources and hospital officials confirmed the sad news.
Dr. Sunil Kumar, spokesperson for Yatharth Hospital, provided details on the condition. He said Khanchand Singh was battling advanced-stage liver cancer. His health had worsened significantly in recent days.
He was admitted to the hospital on February 21. The medical team placed him on ventilator support. He breathed his last early Friday morning.
Former coach Masood Amini also spoke about the loss. He confirmed the father had been fighting liver cancer. The news of his demise came through in the morning.
